These Terms govern your use of the LoveBug app and trylovebug.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Dutchworks LLC ("Dutchworks," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use LoveBug.
LoveBug lets two partners record conversations they've both consented to, transcribes and analyzes them, and surfaces relationship insights. It is provided for reflection and entertainment.
You represent that you have the right to consent to being recorded and that you will only use LoveBug to record conversations where every participant has actually consented — LoveBug's in-app consent step is a tool to help you do this, not a substitute for your own compliance with the law.
You are solely responsible for complying with the wiretapping, recording-consent, and privacy laws of your jurisdiction and any jurisdiction where a recorded conversation takes place, including laws that require the consent of all parties, not just two.
By completing voice enrollment in the app, you consent to LoveBug collecting and using a voiceprint derived from your voice, as described in our Privacy Policy's Biometric Information section, solely to identify who is speaking in your recorded conversations.
LoveBug offers an auto-renewing subscription with a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription automatically renews and your Apple ID account is charged for renewal.
Your purchase is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to LoveBug unless we've provided a separate license agreement.
You agree not to: record anyone without their actual consent; use the Service unlawfully; attempt to access accounts or systems without authorization; reverse-engineer or scrape the Service; or interfere with its operation.
LoveBug's insights are AI-generated for reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and LoveBug is not a substitute for couples counseling, therapy, or professional care. If you or your partner are in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services.
The Service, its design, and its content (excluding what you submit) belong to Dutchworks LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You keep ownership of your recordings and transcripts; you grant us a license to process them solely to provide the Service to you and your partner.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dutchworks LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages arising from your or another user's recording of a conversation.
You agree to indemnify and hold Dutchworks LLC harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your recordings, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [TBD], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
